How to Setup the Bill of Lading Printer

The ActiveX Display and Printer Controls are add-on components for Internet Explorer. The ActiveX Display delivers true 5250 display emulation over the Internet associated with 5250 terminal "green screens." The ActiveX Printer control enables a network printer or a printer attached to your PC to emulate a host printer. The process of downloading or upgrading the ActiveX controls via HTTP is simple and only requires a few steps.

Instructions

    Launch your Internet Explorer browser and go to the Atlas Agents Online Services Web-page.

    Click on the Display button.

    Click the yellow ActiveX action bar, and a drop-down menu will appear. Click...

    Select the action that reads "Download File" "Install ActiveX Control" or "Install This Add-On for All Users on This Computer..."

    For Vista and Windows 7 users, Click the "Yes" button if the User Account Control box pops up appears over the browser. Then, click the "Allow" button if the Internet Explorer Security box pops up over the browser Click... . The Rocket Software Download Manager will open and start the Display ActiveX download automatically.

    For Windows XP Users, click the "Continue" button if the Security Warning box pops up over the browser Click... . Then, click the "Install" button. The Rocket Software Download Manager will open and start the Display ActiveX download automatically.

    At The Server Signon popup window Click... , enter only your six digit User name in the format "ABC123", When the green screen Sign On appears, Enter your AVL user ID and pasword to access the Agent Communications Menu.

    If the Server Signon popup window does not appear within 30 seconds, contact your network administrator. You may need to run the following program.

    Goto the Atlas Online Services web-page and click on the Printer button.
