How to upgrade the Display and Printer ActiveX Controls on your computer

The ActiveX Display and Printer Controls are add-on components for Internet Explorer. The process of downloading or upgrading the ActiveX controls is simple and and automatic for most after responding to a few messages.

You will need to uninstall previous versions of the software only if you downloaded and installed the HFDisplay or HFPrinter packages in the past. During the upgrade process, you will be notified that another version of the product is already installed and you will have to uninstall it before proceeding with the upgrade. Instructions

    Launch your Internet Explorer browser and go to the Atlas Agents Online Services Web-page.

    Click on the Display button.

    Left click the yellow ActiveX action bar and a drop-down menu will appear. Click...

    Select the action that reads "Run Add-On", "Install ActiveX Control" or "Install This Add-On for All Users on This Computer..."

    Accept all  the following popup windows by clicking "Install" or "Run" or "Yes"or "Allow" button and the Server Signon popup window will appear.

    At The Server Signon popup window Click... , enter only your six digit User name in the format "ABC123", When the green screen Sign On appears, Enter your AVL user ID and pasword to access the Agent Communications Menu.

    If the Server Signon popup window does not appear within 30 seconds, contact your network administrator or run the following program.

    Goto the Atlas Agents Online Services web-page and click on the Printer button.

    Left click the yellow ActiveX action bar, and a drop-down menu will appear Click... .

    Select the action that reads "Run Add-On", "Install ActiveX Control" or "Install This Add-On for All Users on This Computer..."

    At The Server Signon popup window, enter only your six digit User name in the format "ABC123" and The ActiveX Printer control window will appear Click... .

    If the ActiveX Printer control window does not appear within 30 seconds, contact your network administrator or run the following program.
