To upgrade to the new release of Remote Client v9.1, SP 3 the current version 8.2 must be removed.

• Install TWAIN Drivers. If not included with your scanner you can download them from the scanner's vendor site.

• Un-install Remote Indexing using Add/Remove Programs.

  • Start

  • Control Panel

  • Add/Remove Programs.

  • Reboot.

• Following the Synergize Remote Client Instructions, install Remote Client v9.1, SP3.

  • Copy the .sif file to another directory. It will be deleted when Remote Client is removed.

  • In Step 5 of the Install Procedures, rather than copying the emailed scenario file, copy the .sif file you previously copied to another directory, back to the local directory.

• Verify that the ftp settings are still current.
