If you are using Internet Explorer on Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2), you need to complete these steps:
  1. Make sure that your security setting allow you to download and install Active-X  components:
  • In Internet Explorer Click on Tools ->Internet Options
  • Click on the security TAB
  • Click on Custom Level
  • Make sure that your Custom setting is set to medium
  • Active-X settings are set exactly as shown below:
  • Click Reset
  • Click Yes
  • Click OK
  • Click OK again
  • Close your browsers and open it again.

  1. An Information Bar dialog box may pop up displaying this message:

      • Click on the toolbar and choose: Install ActiveX Control....

IF AFTER DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING THESE TWO FILES, YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO GET A SIGNON SCREEN, CONTACT YOUR NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR. THE SECURITY SETTING ON YOUR NETWORK ARE BLOCKING THE INSTALLATION.

  1. If you have to configure your printer, click on the Session Properties button on the HostFront ActiveX Printer toolbar. The HostFront ActiveX Printers Properties window will display.
  2. Click on the Page Setup TAB.

  3. The characters per line and line per page should be configured as shown below. 

    Char per Line = 120

    Char per Inch = 15

    Line per Page = 80

    Line per Inch = 8
